Why compare yourself with others? No one in the entire world can do a better job of being you than you.

Book Reading is my passion, I normally read Books related to Self-development, Motivation, Leadership, Spirituality etc and reads blogs and watch Videos on these topics. The sprit to share the learned knowledge, brought me here so that I can write blogs and inspire myself and others with my work.

    Unfortunately, comparing ourselves to others is too easy because we live in this visual context. And we’re not taught to use our imaginations. That creative side of our being is very much oppressed. There is so much to see you, and we are always told to compare and evaluate and rate. Human beings are being rated on scales of 1 – 10 while whole cultures perish. It’s a game, but we don’t learn the lesson.

      Yes you are right.. we always tempted to compare ourselves with others.. but in comparing with other we should not lose our own identity.. we will not grow in life by just comparing it with others .. many a time we become envious of other people’s success and achievements, but that will not make us successful.. for making our life successful we need to understand ourselves , we need to analyze our strengths and weaknesses…

        So true Manish. It takes a strong will to succeed and thrive on our own terms. Recognising we are vulnerable is a step towards that.
